The LiFT Institute aims to prepare individuals in the community with both the hard and soft skills needed for success, through a faith-based workforce development curriculum. This program focuses on building professional and technical skills, foundational workforce training, and guidance to help learners enter, grow and lead in their desired careers.

The curriculum emphasizes both basic trade skills and the development of forward-thinking leaders in the tech industry, aligning with SEU’s Tech and Trades program. Through collaboration with industry leaders, LiFT connects learners to opportunities that help them discover and realize their potential within these fields.

As the program grows, the goal is to establish a clear and accessible pathway for community members to participate in this learning opportunity at a low cost. By providing mentorship, training, and peer networking, the program equips learners to successfully lead in their chosen trades or industries. Graduates will gain the tools needed to build sustainable careers, support their families, and continue developing skills for the future.
